Journalist Dmitry Gordon urged Kyiv residents and other Ukrainians to have at least a two‑week supply of food and water. He recommended buying canned meat, hardtack, tea, canned goods and grains, noting that he has already stocked up.
Gordon also advised preparing warm clothing in case of heating or electricity disruptions. The appeal came as people prepare for the upcoming autumn‑winter period.
