Aviation expert Bohdan Dolintse said that destroying a single aerial target with large‑caliber guns can cost from several hundred to several thousand dollars, while intercepting with air‑to‑air missiles is more expensive.
He warned that a shortage of such missiles will directly affect air‑space defence capabilities, including the number of intercepted loitering drones and cruise missiles.
