The author ordered a taxi and, together with her 16‑year‑old son—who looks older than his age and has a small beard—went to the Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC) in Kh Kam'yans'ke. Upon arrival they were not on the usual route, staff surrounded the TCC and they expressed shock at the situation.
