49‑year‑old Yonatan Karlinski‑Mashek, who holds Ukrainian citizenship, was detained at the Romanian border when he was returning from a pilgrimage to Uman. During the check it was discovered that he has Ukrainian citizenship. According to Israeli media, the man was taken to a military base near Odesa, where the paperwork for service began.
