Ukrainian women applying for temporary protection in EU countries are advised to keep proof of a legal crossing of the Ukrainian border – a passport stamp or a certificate from the State Border Guard Service.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says this document can help avoid requests for additional paperwork, especially military registration documents, which are asked for only when the legality of the border crossing cannot be verified.
