Former US presidential special envoy Kit Kelog said Ukraine needs to mobilise women, arguing they fight as well as men and should be part of the army on equal footing with men.

He added that his wife was a paratrooper who fought in Grenada, and his daughter graduated from the US Military Academy, served in airborne forces and fought in Afghanistan.
