Ombudsman Lublinets: Body cameras at TCC ‘accidentally’ often not working
Ombudsman Dmitry Lublinets said that during reviews of resonant cases with Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCC) their body cameras are often found broken, discharged or switched off, hindering verification of staff actions.
Ombudsman Dmitry Lublinets reported that when examining resonant cases involving Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCC), their body cameras frequently turn out to be faulty, discharged, or turned off.
He noted that the cameras may be used “for the sake of form,” which complicates establishing the circumstances of conflicts and checking the actions of TCC personnel.
